Concrete Paving Landscaping
The Clients brief was to create a more useable area to be all on one level and to lay below the damp as the previous patio was above the damp and had small trip hazards.
They liked the idea of a mixed size or random paving and wanted to keep a warm colour, they wanted the stone to look natural but didn’t want a Sandstone.
To remove all existing concrete paving tiles and sub-base. Prepare all levels below damp (DPC).
Break up all Concrete and re-lay areas with an MOT Type 1 Subbase compacted.
We laid a Rutland paving which has a high-profile riven surface and dressed edges, reminiscent of natural stone. With two natural-looking colours available it’s sure to blend into any area.
The Patio was then grouted with a resin mortar mix to ensure longer stability.
